Eric began playing guitar at the age of 11. Since then, Eric has played with several different groups, traveling all over the United States. He’s opened for several artists, including Dierks Bentley, Diamond Rio, Jo Dee Messina, The Oakridge Boys, and Tammy Wynette among many others. Eric was the lead guitarist for the house band at “The Trap” in Nashville, TN for 3 years. While in Nashville, Eric’s band was managed by Capitol Management Group, management company for George Strait. After leaving Nashville, Eric moved to Florida where he has been a guitar instructor and working sideman since 2004. With a broad range of experience, Eric’s most prominent influences come from artists such as Eddie Van Halen, Marty Stuart, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Richie Sambora. In addition to his guitar talent, Eric is a gifted singer and songwriter. He’s written and recorded commercial jingles for companies including GMC, Farmer Jack, Mammoth Video and many others. Eric’s aptitude ranges from heavy metal to country music, but he’s found his forte in country music.
