Daryl’s career accomplishments began at the age of 15 when he signed an exclusive contract with Bee Jay Agency of Winter Park, Florida. Other acts under their management at that time were “The Royal Guardsmen” (Snoopy and the Red Baron fame) and “Blues Image” (Ride Captain Ride). From 1972 through 1975 Daryl served in the Navy and had the opportunity to play with a variety of Navy groups. In 1976, Daryl was traveling with a disco-style band, about which he says, “That was some of the most fun I ever had.” From 1977 to the present, Daryl has been in many different Country bands, and has had the opportunity to be the opening act for such stars as Garth Brooks, Alabama, Sawyer Brown, Mary Chapin Carpenter, and the Judds.
